| Glory eased past reigning champions Galacticos with a deserved 4-0 win last weekend, but BOG will have a much tougher prospect this weekend when they take on LA Leisure.
Having initially been expecting a tough test against a side that hammered Glory the last time they met, manager Tom Canning was a little puzzled as to why he hadn't been the busier of the two goalkeepers in the first half..
..until Gary Doyle pointed out the opposition had just five players.
As it was Martin De Silva broke the deadlock in the first half before Doyle stepped up for a penalty kick and Glory's second - and his first ever goal for the club.
Its only been four years, even Kinchy has racked up three goals in that time, hell even Canning has two.
Stuart Harmsworth and Michael Keen wrapped things up in the second half and the game petered out, despite both sides creating chances at the death.
This weekend Neil Coles should be welcomed back into contention after last weekend, but will probably have to settle for a place on the bench, whilst Dean Rosier should also return from injury.
Goalkeepers Mike Doubleday and Dave Malloy's availability has yet to be established. Posted: Fri Feb 08, 2008 4:29 pm |
